Why is there a red dot beside an icon in the app?

If you are seeing a red dot beside any of your icons in the CrisisGo app it means that your organization has made changes to your emergency data.  Tap the bar at the top to update all the latest emergency data.

You can choose to Auto-Update emergency data in the Settings of the app. This will allow emergency data to be automatically updated on the device when your organization publishes changes.  The Auto-Update process will start when the app is running in the background.
