How do I find the VIP Password?

A VIP Password is the key to linking a message group to the organization's CrisisGo Platform.  If you choose to create a message group from within the app, you will need the VIP Password to link the group to the correct building. Once linked, all group data is stored in the console, where Console Administrators are able to view and export message group data. 

To locate your VIP password, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the Console.
  2. Find the appropriate VIP Password for the type of group you want to make:
    1. To link a group to the workspace, hover over the Organization tab and click Organization Management.  The organization's VIP Password will be listed there.
    2. To link a group to a specific building, hover over the Organization tab and click Building Management.  The VIP Password for each building will be listed there.

Once you have begun the process of creating a new message group from within the app, toggle the VIP Switch on, select the Organization/Building and then input the appropriate VIP Password. Once your group is successfully linked, you can continue with the group set-up.

Please note that the password is case sensitive and must be entered exactly as it appears in the Console. Choosing to continue without inputting the VIP password will not link the group to the workspace and your data will not be saved.

If you do not have access to the Console but think you need it, please contact your Crisis Administrator.
